COVID-19 Message

At SDN, nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our team members, customers, and communities. We would like to provide an update on the steps we’re taking to provide the quality and responsive services you rely on, as COVID-19 (coronavirus) evolves. We understand this situation is top of mind for all of us.

  • We are open and delivering with a possible reduction in capacity as we take precautions with our handling methods and assist staff in dealing with the issues in their personal lives.

  • We will respect the recommended guidelines by making accommodations at the delivery appointments.  If you can let us in, we will place the items while maintaining the personal space of 6ft as much as possible. We are also allowing digital confirmation of completing the appointments through our text service

  • We are postponing our on-site training and certification events for the time being. We invite you to enjoy some of our great complimentary education at home with our Instant Learning!”

  • Our team has been provided with expert direction by the World Health Organization, the CDC, and UW, to reduce the likelihood of infection.

  • Each day, we first start by protecting our team before they hit the road. We want to ensure our team is properly cared for so they are ready to safely assist you!

  • Many of our employees are working from home to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. For those in warehouse and logistics, we are screening for symptoms and temperatures at the beginning of the shift. They are required to stay home if they exhibit any symptoms related to COVID-19.

  • We are using hospital-grade disinfectants (as supplies remain available) and are concentrating on high-touch areas, i.e., computers, keypads, phones, door handles, railings, and restrooms. All staff has hand-sanitizers in the warehouse, trucks and on their person. We're learning all kinds of new songs to thoroughly wash our hands to, REPEATEDLY. Soap and water. Lots of soap and water.

This could be a long, windy, unpaved road and we all need to keep spirits up. We work hard to make SDN a safe, healthy and happy place to work. There are likely to be difficult days for all of us. Our team will welcome your favorite memes, jokes, and the latest catchy tune to wash hands to. While we don’t make light of this pandemic, we hold on to the idea that clean hands and laughter (from at least a 6’ distance) are our best medicine.

It is often during challenges and crises that we come together and do our best. By being diligent, proactive and uniting as a community, we will get through this together. As always, thank you for your business, and please reach out with any questions, concerns or assistance you may need.
